Count Zsigmond Széchenyi Memorial Medal Award Ceremony

We presented the Széchenyi Memorial Medals to the most selfless hunters of the 2024 National Charity Hunt.

The most valuable recognition of hunting culture was presented in the citadel of Hungarian hunting, the grand hall of the Hungarian Agricultural Museum and Library, in an environment worthy of its namesake. Gratitude and thanks to the director general of the institution, Dr. János Estók.

We express our sincere appreciation to all the awardees, who have risen above others this time with their selflessness and commitment to social responsibility.

We thank the State Secretary Imre Hubai, Ministerial Commissioner László L. Simon, and Director General Miklós Piroska for their cooperation as medal awarders.

We would like to thank the Pipacs horn ensemble for their participation, they enhanced the event with their wonderful costumes and excellent voices.

We are grateful to our friend András Stohl, who, as an unwavering ambassador and permanent participant of the OJV, contributed to the success of this evening.

We are honored to have signed a cooperation agreement with the 190-year-old National Greyhound Association, and with this, greyhound hunting will be the first of the traditional hunting methods to be included within the framework of the National Charity Hunt. We would like to thank President János Keresztes for the partnership!
