OJV 2024 donation handover Pest County, Heim Pál National Pediatric Institute
Let's nail it right at the beginning. It's an uplifting feeling to hand over a donation to all the hospitals in the country, but nothing compares to Europe's largest children's center! And we experienced this feeling many times. The last stop of our donation handover road show, that is, we visited the 20th beneficiary.
With our latest donation, we help cure children suffering from acute and chronic lung diseases! Our donation worth 2.3 million HUF (oxygen therapy device) raises the possibilities of pulmonary medicine to a new level - said Dr. Anikó Nagy, the director general of the institution, at the press conference. The Director General, who is also the President of the Hungarian Pediatricians Association for many years, said goodbye again: “God bless the hunters!”
We would like to express our gratitude to the Toronto Hungarian Hunters Community, the Canadian Hungarian Entrepreneurs Association and President Sándor Balla, who generously supported the goals of our program from Canada. It is an immense honor that at the donation ceremony we were surrounded by the direct descendant of the hospital’s namesake, the great-grandson of Pál Heim, Balázs Judik, who, in addition to being our excellent fellow hunter, is also a member of the OJV creative team.
