OJV 2024 Donation Handover, Szolnok
We held our 19th donation handover ceremony this year in Szolnok at the children's ward of the Hetény Hospital.
Illustrious persons also honored the event with their presence. Imre Hubai, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Attila Berko, Governor of JNSZ County, Ferenc Szalay, Ministerial Commissioner, Miklós Piroska, Director General of the institution, and Tamás Varga, 2x Olympic champion water polo player, OJV JNSZ County Ambassador, were also on site.
1,163,800.-Ft is the OJV's donation for the Szolnok institution for 2024. The device requested to be purchased was a humidifier, which is of outstanding importance in keeping the airways clean, as we learned, it will be in almost constant use during flu seasons.
The amount of our donations, with which the National Charity Hunt contributed to the treatment of sick children in JNSZ county, exceeded 8.5 million HUF.
We would like to thank both hunting rights holders, the Tiszamenti Landowners Hunting Association and the Karcagi Nagykun Hunting Association, who undertook the implementation of the hunts on December 27th. We sincerely thank the selflessness of our local hunting companions who participated in the program and had the “strength” to give up their own for the common good.
We bow our heads with respect to the greatness of our supporters, and we do this especially to Imre Sebők!
We believe that it is an example to follow that the leaders of the county are among the first to register their participation in the charity hunt every year, in this way they strengthen the unity of the community and actively contribute to achieving the goals.
Last but not least, we would like to thank our Olympic champion and ambassador, Tamás Varga, for his exemplary and humble work, which he does for his hometown through charity hunting year after year. It is a special feeling to fight for common goals with such a great sportsman, an excellent hunting partner, but above all, a HUMAN with a capital letter.
