OJV 2025. Donation Ceremony, Szolnok
Familiar and smiling faces welcomed me again this time at the Hetény Hospital in Szolnok.

I had the special opportunity to arrive at the third OJV donation ceremony in the company of an Olympic champion within a week. This time, Tamás Varga, a 2x Olympic champion water polo player and the OJV JNSZ county ambassador, accompanied us.
Our donation was less than 1 million HUF, from which we bought a very special VR-based diagnostic and therapeutic device for the child psychiatry department, a vein finder device and a compressor anti-decubitus mattress. The VR-based device is so new and innovative that it only exists in a few institutions in the country! Together with our current donation, OJV equipment worth 9.5 million HUF is helping to heal sick children in the region.
Dr. Enikő Juhász, the head physician of the child psychiatric department, guided us through the ward. We encountered modern, friendly, bright spaces. At certain moments, nothing reminded us that we were in a hospital. We could even see the therapy animals. But perhaps the biggest impression was made on us by the sight of the elevator that transports us between floors. We have never seen such a human-friendly and good-natured passenger elevator! It is very good to see that they pay attention to even the smallest details and that everything serves the recovery of sick children.
We are honored that the Tiszamenti Landowner Hunting Association and the Śttörő Hunting Association hosted our event. We would like to thank our fellow hunter Károly Bathó for his organizational work and Sándor Bordás for his support! We are infinitely grateful to those hunters and supporters who identified with our mission in JNSZ county.
Last but not least, all our appreciation goes to Tamás Varga, who is not only a champion in the pool, but also in life!
