OJV 2025. Donation handover, Szombathely
We have made great strides in the past few years at Markusovszky Hospital. Certain surgeries are now only performed with the equipment we donated.
Our donations have become part of everyday healing activities. This year, HUF 5.5 million was available for the purchase of equipment, from which a compact intraoperative ultrasound examination head was purchased, which can be used on babies as young as a few weeks old and is extremely accurate. As well as an objective neonatal hearing testing system, with which any congenital hearing problems can be detected as quickly as possible. In summary, this year we were able to hand over particularly useful donations to the department's staff.
Our donation so far is just under HUF 30 million, which cures children in Szombathely and the surrounding area.
Vas County is one of the smallest in terms of the number of hunters, but the largest in terms of the effectiveness of OJV! Hats off to all our fellow hunters. We also thank the sponsors for their selflessness! We presented the biggest sponsors with a certificate of appreciation at the ceremony.
It is extraordinary what our county strategic partner Balázs Ferenczi and the Répcefa Kft he manages are achieving in this program. We have met few similarly kind-hearted and generous people. Dr. Bálint Kondora, vice-president of the Vas County General Assembly and ambassador of the OJV Vas County, is the other local engine of our team, thank you for that.
