Historic donation handover! OJV 2024.Szombathely
In the presence of Dr. Péter Takács, State Secretary for Health, we handed over our 2024 donation to the children's department of the Markusovszky Hospital in Szombathely.
As a preface, it is worth mentioning that, considering the county ranking of the OJV, Vas County was the most active in the 2024 hunt, leaving all counties behind.
The donation amounted to 6.3 million HUF, to which an additional 7 million HUF came from an external source. This made it possible for us to hand over a very unique ultrasound device worth nearly 14 million HUF. The OJV had never received a donation of such a volume of equipment before, which is why we treat it as a historic donation.
The Markusovszky hospital is one of the biggest beneficiaries of our program, as we provide them with 24 million HUF of direct funding, and if we add the 7 million HUF catalyzed from external sources, it can be stated that the National Charity Hunt enabled the purchase of equipment in the children's department worth 31 million HUF.
The people of Vas County are grateful and appreciated! Perhaps it is worth starting with the strategic partner. The Hungarian vocabulary is insufficient for the sincere selflessness of Balázs Ferenczi (Répcefa Kft.)! Dr. Bálint Kondora is the local ambassador of our program, and by the way, the vice-president of the county assembly, and the dynamics are increasing year by year thanks to his social activities. The community of local hunters is amazing and of course the many supporters, some of whom are not even hunters, but simply HUMANS with a capital letter…
We would also like to thank the director general of the Markusovszky hospital, Norbert Lippai, and the head of the pediatric department, Dr. Violetta Csákváry, for their cooperation and words of appreciation.
There were also joyful moments in the state hall of the county house, where we were able to present certificates of appreciation to the biggest supporters, who were personally thanked for their generosity by State Secretary Péter Takács!
