OJV 2022 Bács-Kiskun County donation handover, Kecskemét
The next stop of our country tour is Bács-Kiskun County. We donated at the children's ward of the Kecskemét hospital.
Exciting antecedents, countless unique features and strong cooperation - these were the characteristics of last year's Charity Hunt in Bács-Kiskun county.
We can't be dissatisfied, since a "visible" result was achieved. For 2.2 million HUF, we were able to buy a special cough suppressant device, which the department had been waiting for for years. So far, we have donated 8 pieces of medical equipment to the hospital in Kecskemét with a total value of HUF 7.7 million, with which more than 1,500 children have been cured.
Regarding the donation, we should mention the following:
We organized an unusual women's hunt at Nemesnádudvar, where for the first time in the history of the charity hunt, a hunt in which only women took part took place. It was a great success, we will organize it again this year! We publicly thanked Réka Dávid for his contribution!
Dr. Kornél Mák, the vice president of the B-K County Assembly, became the local ambassador of our charity program last year. Our team has become much stronger with his person!
Róbert Seres, head hunter of the landscape unit, has been the engine of charity hunting in Bács-Kiskun County for years. An indispensable and excellent partner, we are grateful to him!
Dr. István Koncz is a well-known and respected person in the Hungarian hunting community. Last year, he became the program's national ambassador. Not by the way, he is the chief obstetrician-gynecologist at the Kecskemét hospital, so it is not surprising that he feels that the charity program implemented to promote the healing of children is his own.
In addition to the above, an important detail is that the leaders of the institution not only graced the press public donation ceremony with their presence, but also participate in the Charity Hunt every year, as they are all active hunters.
The involvement of the "hunting doctors" in the County of Bács-Kiskun is therefore exemplary, for which we would like to thank the director general Dr. Miklós Gondos, the medical director Dr. Zsolt Horváth and the economic director István Zsarnay!
Zoltán Kocka, the president of the Bács-Kiskun County Regional Organization of OMVK, was also present at our donation presentation, whom we also welcomed to the group and thanked for the support of the chamber!
Last but not least, recognition goes to the altruism of the participating hunting associations and the activity of local hunters and supporters!
