OJV 2021 Szent György Hospital - Fejér county
Fejér county is the center of the charity hunt, since in 2013 the program serving a public purpose was held for the first time in this county.
Since then, many things have happened in the life of the event, but the commitment of the hunters of Fejér county to the children's department of the hospital has not changed. This is the 9th time we have visited the institution and handed over our donations. The previous annual donations of 700-800 thousand HUF, thanks to the complete change of structure, have now grown to many millions. The 2021 charity hunt provided HUF 8.2m for the purchase of medical equipment.
The children's department wanted more equipment that was needed immediately, among them were 3 volumetric infusion pumps, 2 ultrasound examination heads and 1 electric multifunctional bed, all of which ran from the frame.
The 26 medical devices donated by charity hunts cure thousands of children every year. Together with this year's donation, the donation given by charity hunts in Fejér County is HUF 35 million. The Hungarian hunting community continues to be the biggest supporter - through charity hunting - of the children's ward of Szent György Hospital!!
At the ceremonial handover of the donation, which attracted considerable media interest, State Secretary Dr. Balázs Rákossy and Member of Parliament Gábor Törő also thanked the hunters of Fejér County for their exemplary cooperation, and at the same time praised the self-sacrificing work of the health workers. The State Secretary and the representative are also part of the charity hunt, and have been associated with the program as hunters for many years.
József Schmidt, János Kovács, Attila Németh and the children's face of the charity hunt, Benedek Buda Schmidt, were also present at the event.
Our biggest supporter, the managing director of Metal-for Kft., Simon László, was also with us.
