OJV 2023 Veszprém County handover, Veszprém
The next stop of the donation ceremony of the National Charity Hunt is Veszprém. This is our 7th recipient this year, which is also the 91st! has been a donation celebration since the charity program was born.
The county is riddled with many challenges, where our county strategic partner Zoltán Majer moves in "difficult terrain". But what is more important than anything else, he does it with results. A fantastic hunt is organized and coordinated by him every year on December 27. Nóráp is an exemplary place for the unification of the nation, since almost as many hunters from the highlands participate in the charity hunt as the customs counties of Veszprém.. Nóráp is not far from the highlands if you have to make sacrifices for the healing of HUNGARIAN CHILDREN!!
It was a special honor for us that Balázs Győrffy, the president of the National Chamber of Agriculture, also participated in the handover ceremony. OJV KNP Kft has been a strategic partner of NAK for almost a year. At the ceremony, Mr. President stated that the social responsibility represented by hunters and the value created by the institution of charity hunting are unique in Hungary.
We donated HUF 1.3m oxygen therapy equipment. This increased the value of our donations to HUF 6.4 million. Currently, 7 medical devices are healing the sick children of Veszprém county, which come from the donation of the OJV.
Ibolya Töreki-Vörös, the former director general of Csolnoky Ferenc Hospital, is also familiar with the atmosphere of the charity hunt, as she previously personally thanked those present at the Nóráp hunt for their sacrificial role. In his speech at the ceremony, he emphasized that the OJV presents an example to be followed both locally and globally.
It is a good feeling that Tamás Szekrényes, the Deputy CEO of Verga Zrt., and Péter Surányi, the Landscape Unit Chief Hunter of the Ministry of Agriculture, were with us at the handover. Special thanks to Tamás Cséfalvay for representing the hunters of the highlands and, of course, thanks to all our hunting lodges who, within the framework of the OJV, selflessly tested with honors for the sick children of the Veszprém county!
"One sick child is too many..."
