OJV 2023 Pest County handover, Heim Pál Hospital
This year's 22nd in total, our 106th donor was also special. We visited Europe's largest pediatric center, the Heim Pál National Pediatric Institute.
Our donation ceremony took place as part of Heim Pál Hospital's Children's Day. They organized an amazing day for the children at the hospital. The courtyard of the building was filled to overflowing. It was touching to see the many joys and smiles that the programs elicited from the children.
A lot of people applauded the selfless support of the Hungarian hunters, and we got a huge scream from the children. Honestly, it was heartbreaking.
Many public figures including Klaudia Liptai, Zsolt Gáspár, Zsuzsa Demcsák, Misa Ragány, Attila Pataki were also present. Even the National Charity Hunt Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., they also support sick children! Huge respect to them!
Perhaps there were two "peak events" of the day. One was when the 1,000-slice chocolate cake was cut as an offering from the Pataki Confectionery. It is no exaggeration to say that there was a strong demand for the slices….
The other "peak moment" was when 1,000 balloons were released by children, adults, employees and guests, with the common prayer that all sick children would be healed! Dr. Aniko Nagy joined the director general of the institution and we ourselves prayed for the healing of the patients. we wished.
We haven't been to Pál Heim's Children's Day yet, but it was a unique experience to be present among so many supporters and to hand over the Hungarian hunters' donation for the 5th time.
We were able to give HUF 2,202,823, from which an automatic infusion system was purchased, which is accurate to the hundredth of a millimeter and can inject up to 0.1 ml of liquid per hour. As the doctors put it, it is a tool of unusual knowledge.
In connection with our current donation, there was also a Canadian thread..
The Hungarian Hunting and Fishing Association of Toronto and the Canadian Association of Hungarian Entrepreneurs organized a charity ball around Christmas last year and transferred HUF 1,000,000 to OJV KNP Kft., with the request that the equipment be purchased for the Heim Pál Hospital. Respecting the offerer's request, we fully complied with it. Here we have to give special thanks to President Sándor Balla and former Toronto Consul General Valér Palkovits, as well as Attila Ébel, who coordinated the cooperation.
Busped Kft., which is our strategic partner, took the lion's share of the success in Pest county. We bow to the work of our friends Sándor Szőke and Attila Szőke. We respectfully thank all our fellow hunters who hunted with us on December 27 or supported our program. We would also like to thank Dávid Eőri, the Hungarian representative of Hikmicro, and László Kovács, the Hungarian importer of Yildiz, for the cooperation and the joint handover experience.
One final thought at the end! Healing is perhaps one of the most wonderful professions in the world, but the fact that, in addition to this responsibility, healthcare workers still have the strength to bring such a fantastic day under the roof and fill it with so much love is simply amazing!
