OJV 2022, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén Vármegyei donation handover
On the 21st of this year, the National Charity Hunt held its 84th donation ceremony.
We visited Miskolc for the 4th time at the children's ward of the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén Vármegyei Central Hospital. Borsod hunters have been a significant force in the charity program for years, and this was the case last December as well. The county cooperation continued to strengthen, thanks to which we were able to donate nearly HUF 4 million. The 2 electric treatment beds and 1 urological endoscope are a significant help to the hospital! 9 medical devices, worth about HUF 11 million, are now used by the OJV to help sick children in Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county. The partnership between the institution and the non-profit organization is outstanding, which was also reflected in the handover ceremony.
The National Charity Hunt has now become a cult, and nothing proves its weight and importance better than the fact that public figures, politicians, well-known athletes, Olympians and other important people come with us to our hunts, donation presentations, cultural events and programs organized in the world of sports.
This time we were not without guests either, Deputy Minister Dr. Zsófia Koncz, Member of Parliament, also graced the handover ceremony with her presence and, when she was there, spoke about the social importance of the OJV. Dr. János Révész, the general director of the hospital, said in his welcoming speech that the charity program deserves the highest recognition.
Above all, the recognition goes to our fellow hunter Tibor Godzsák, who has been the soul and engine of charity hunts in BAZ County for years. Thanks to our strategic partner in the county, the Hunting Association of Fony and Surrounding Land Owners, and to the president, Mr. Gábor Puskás. It is a particularly great honor that Vajlavölgy Kft. joined us as a county venue. We thank all our fellow hunters and supporters for their selflessness!!
