In Tolna County, the donation of the Charity Hunt was also handed over
Perhaps it is known to many that one of the successful counties of the 2022 National Charity Hunt was Tolna. As a background, it is worth knowing that last fall, Zoltán Zsikó, the vice president of the Tolna County Assembly, joined us as the local ambassador of the program. His involvement put the charity hunt in the county of Tolna into a new dimension. In addition to the previous locations, new ones were added, and a significant number of local supporters joined the team.
We were able to give a donation in the amount that we previously could in 3 years! We bought very significant assets from HUF 3.7 million. A part of the donations is for emergency patient care. In addition to these, an MR-compatible oxygen saturation and pulse monitoring device was purchased, and the children's ophthalmology department was also enriched with a lens system for eye examinations and the corresponding modern examination frame, which is currently the most outstanding kit on the market.
Dr. Csaba Németh, the director general of the János Balassa Hospital in Szekszárd, emphasized at the ceremony that the volume of grants received by the National Charity Hunt made the donor one of the biggest supporters of the institution! Mr. Director General - who himself is a "charitable hunter" - came into contact with hunting through our charity program and decided that it would be desirable for him to belong to this community. This is a huge honor for us!
Member of Parliament István Horváth is a regular participant in the donation ceremonies and the December 27 Charity Hunts. In his celebratory speech, he highlighted the importance of the established tradition and spoke of the National Charity Hunt as an example to be followed.
First of all, we would like to express our thanks to the participating Tolna county hunters and our supporters. We owe special thanks to Ferenc Horváth and Dr. Zsolt Beréti, who supported our set goals with a significant sum of money, thereby curing the sick children of Tolna County!!
We are grateful to our Tolna County strategic partner, the Regölyi Kapos Koppány Hunting Society, for their years of activity and last but not least to our ambassador Zoltán Zsikó, whose work once again served the interests of Tolna County citizens.
