Presentation of the Count Zsigmond Széchenyi Memorial Medal 2022
Hungarian Agricultural Museum and Library
In a fantastically beautiful, dignified and solemn environment, the deserving sports and professional hunters who did the most for the success of the charity program in some counties of the 2021 National Charity Hunt received the Count Zsigmond Széchenyi medals, thereby for sick children.
It was a special honor for us that Dr. Péter Takács, the State Secretary responsible for health at the Ministry of the Interior, was present at the ceremony. He first interpreted the greetings of the Minister of the Interior Sándor Pintér to the hunters present, and then thanked the Hungarian hunters on behalf of the 22 supported hospitals and the public benefit of the National Charity Hunt. Nonprofit Ltd. for donations exceeding HUF 124 million.
László Simon László, the director general of the Hungarian National Museum, could not miss the event, who drew attention to the importance of private patronage and highlighted the social importance of the National Charity Hunt.
As an invited guest, Tibor Szólláth, the vice-president of the National Chamber of Agriculture, praised the charity program and drew attention to the fact that, in addition to directly helping sick children, the charity hunt is also meant to improve the general social perception of hunters.
The director general of the institution hosting the event, János Estók, provided a bang towards the end of the event, he also read from Zsigmond Széchenyi's original hunting descriptions and presented a few pages to those present, which surprised even the "most prepared from Széchenyi"!
Thank you to all the invited guests for coming!
We also owe a debt of gratitude to Stefi Déri, who helped a program of the OJV with her work for the second time!
We heartily congratulate the awardees!!!
