The biggest supporter of the children's ward is acclaimed to be the Hungarian hunting society.
As the 19th venue of the road show, Szent György Hospital in Fejér County also received the donation of the 2020 National Charity Hunting Nonprofit Ltd. Dr. István Tokodi, the chief medical officer of the children's department of the institution, received the donation document in a ceremony, which was handed over jointly by the county's hunters in the presence of Bence Rétvári, State Secretary, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Human Resources
With the purchase of 8.3 million HUF equipment, high-end instruments were added to the ward. The electrophysiological measuring device is the most modern medical instrument available on the market for detecting epilepsy. The provided pulsoxymeter combined with a blood pressure monitor is an indispensable element during the COVID epidemic.
In the past 8 years, 22 medical devices have been donated by the hunters' charitable program to St. George's Hospital, which exceeded the collected amount of HUF 27 million. Through this charity hunt, Hungarian hunters have become the biggest supporters of the children's ward, given that no one has yet contributed with such a large grant (except for a Statuary Institution) to the department!!
Thanks to the hunters and supporters involved in the cooperation!
